the reason: was the water can flow inside the earth layers between stones,but pressure is depends on starting point of water.i.e inlet of water flow cave. and in earth the heights may differ from point to point.so some places the pressure was high due to lot of height between starting point to that point .so due to that pressure we can see that type of miracles.
