why the human beings says the ghosts and devils are lives in larger and wider trees....etc like that???

scientific reason behind of  "why the human beings says the ghosts and devils are lives in larger and wider trees....etc like that??? "

reason to tell our older generation like that:
1.at nights if humans sleeps beneath of larger and crowded trees at night time...then definitely you must fell "some body was squeeze (apply force) on your heart....and difficulty of respiration ".
and they told it is due to ghosts ...and those lives on trees and makes effect at night.

the main reason was   .......this effect not due to ghosts  and nor due to devils........its due to trees...........
cant you belief this..........
ok .i will expline some what deep ..........
friends.........trees are releases oxygen by absorbing carbon di oxide at day time.............
but...........
at night time the trees absorb oxygen and releases carbon di oxide as like humans ......why because of no sunlight..........no photosynthesis......only respiration process for growing trees (done by all living particles ex:humans,animals,birds,etc)
so the complete oxygen can absorbed by trees and filled by carbon di oxide........so "human beings may feel difficulty to take breathing,just like some body was squeezed their heart "
